My MC won't work on servers.

Once my MC updated to 1.10.1 I couldn't log onto any of my MC servers. Yet I could still log onto my single player worlds. Every time I try to play on a server, it logs on, and then closes. I'm getting really annoyed about this because I really wanted to play and I cannot now. Please try to help if you can. Thank you.
