White flash when I log in and out of MC

So, I was experiencing 3 things. One I couldn't see any skins but all the default ones. Next when I would log in and out of a server, I would see a white screen for few seconds and then it would all go back to normal. But I thought that if I deleted and reinstalled MC that it would fix. So I deleted MC, and I went to the MOJANG portal to download minecraft and it said that I can't download MC because there is an error.
