Stuck on Preparing

I opened Minecraft and put it on 1.10. I pressed play and it changed to preparing. Then it starts downloading realms. I waited 10 minutes to 45 minutes. It was working perfectly fine yesterday but, now it doesn't work. I didn't get to play on any server today.
