redstone comparator crash

make a redstone clock that links to a comparator, then place a hopper with a furnace below it then kill a cow above the hopper so it drops leather/beef into it,but have a hopper setup to take the item to a trapped chest, this trapped chest connects to the clock. if done correctly this will crash it.
