Touch-screen scrolling error. Language alteration leads to game crash.

After I downloaded Minecraft PC on my Unbranded Windows tablet, I began playing only to realize that scrolling in-game didn't function at all with touch screen. As I was attempting to find an option to fix this, I accidentally nudged my screen which altered the language setting. Because the scroll feature doesn't work, I couldn't change it back to English US. The following day I purchased a mouse, which enabled scrolling, but no matter which language I select Minecraft stops responding before changing the language. I am currently stuck on Dutch.
