Item frames are black in 1.10-pre1

As you can see in the picture, half the item frames in my sorting system are dark. The other half are fine. When I load my world in 16w21b they are all fine. This makes the snapshot pretty much unplayable for me. I have tried making block updates, lighting updates and replacing the item frames - it did nothing.
