Unable to install minecaft

I am unable to install the minecraft game. I have been trying many times. After the download of the installer (from the link of the purchase email, and from the minecraft.net download link for Windows) I press Play, and then I get a crash \ bug report. The minecraft version listed on the installer is 1.8.9. I have updated the Java on my compter as well. I have attached an image of the report. Please help me how to solve the problem. Thank you.
