Quartz stairs incorrect texture when facing sideways

When I place quartz stairs facing 90 degrees away from another set of stairs.. the texture is a bit awkward.

Steps (pun not intended) To Reproduce
1. Place a set of quartz stairs going upwards.
2. Face the stairs from sideways, and add another stair by right-clicking on one of the stairs already there.
3. Have a look at what it looks like.
