Screen spins way too fast and random on Wayland

When playing Minecraft and moving the mouse on Linux/Wayland, the view moves normally for a few seconds, until it starts to spin at infinite speed, rendering the game unplayable. Moving the mouse faster seems to worsen the issue (make it appear faster).
