Blocks would not drop their respected items drop items

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought when I was breaking the block it would drop a Item instead of nothing

What actually happened was...:
I was destroying a block then the block did not drop I had no lag what so ever
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to coordinates 10 63 130(It worked on a number of seeds)
2. Place any block
3. Break the block
