try to open world but game crashes

I updated my PC and tried to open Minecraft to play on my world. I clicked on the icon and it opened up slower than usual but I assumed that because I just downloaded an update. I opened Minecraft again after it wasn't responding and clicked on my world. The game crashed and sent me to the game output. I tried restarting my PC and shutting it down but it didn't seem to work. I would like to have this bug fixed with either a new DELL update or a new Minecraft update. Thanks,
