Ender chests become invisible when loading and unloading chunks

When travelling back and forth through a nether multiple times in short succession, an ender chest previously placed became invisible. F3+A did not fix it. Quitting and re-joining might have, however I did not do this. You could still open it and access the inventory. Breaking it caused it to flash into existence and then break.
