Java ArrayIndexOutofBoundsException when using F3 below bedrock

Game chrashes when using F3 under bedrock level.

How to reproduce:

1. Create a new world - gamemode creative

2. Dig below you, until you fall into the void.

3. Press F3 (for advanced info)

4. Minecraft crashes with an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
