i can't play minecraft

I thought I would be able to log in to minecraft.

I got on the minecraft page where you press the play button to log in, then I went on multiplayer and tried to get in to a server but it automatically shut down my minecraft. I tried to log on to a different server but the same thing happened.

I don't know how to fix this.
