Villagers open and close doors infinatly when on carpet

If you have a house that has carpet on the other side of the door and a villager tries to go in, it will continuously open and close the door rapidly. it wont stop and try to move somewhere else at all. same goes if the villager is standing on the inside (on the carpet) and trying to leave.
