When I use a resource pack for minecraft it won't load the texture pack and I go back to the resource pack settings it shows that the resource pack isn't selected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download and install a resource pack.
2. Select the resource pack in the client settings.
3. exit the resource pack settings.
