[BDS] Why do give hacks work
for the longest time inventories have been stored client-side on bds which is appalling for server owners making it so people can give themselves items that shouldn't even exist such as weapons with 32k enchantment values and even objects that allow CBEs[command block exploits] crippling servers making them unplayable, this is even an issue on the PAID realms service
owners having to resort to systems like Nukkitx or cloudburst which have allot more weight than bds while being more limited missing items and features

that is either just a straight up lie or its implemented so terribly it just don't work. because if that was the case then people still wouldn't be giving them self's items 2 years after the fact.
also "we are deprecating support for client-side inventory handling." so in other words there is no authoritative server inventory its being worked on still? or its already implemented and doesn't work?
or its never been in the game? so what gives?

However please note, BDS has had server authoritative inventory since March per the below release notes. If you know of a specific exploit please feel free to create a new report with steps on how to reproduce the exploit. Be sure to mark the report as private to ensure the information isn't made public on the tracker.
Mojang are aware of other exploit software and we are tracking that privately in other reports.
