Invalid IP address means you're entering an illegal character into the IP field.
With the information you've provided there's no way to determine what is going wrong here but I understand you may not wish to publicly display what you are entering.
Feel free to edit the report and switch it to private so you can attach a screenshot of what you are putting in the server field.
