Detector rail emits redstone, when moved using piston, even after the passage of the minecart

Detector rails are emmiting redstone when moved using sticky pistons, even if there is no minecart above

 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Produce a setup as shown below
  2. Place a minecart at the end farest to the stick piston
  3. Push the minecart forward to the powered rail

Obervation:

The stick piston pushes the detector rail along with the minecart and the detector rail gets pulled back by the sticky piston and the detector rail keeps emmiting redstone even if there is nothing above

Expected Results:

The detector rail should not emit redstone since there is no minecart above

However, this issue is Invalid.

You reported a parity issue. We are only tracking parity issues that meet the following criteria on this bug tracker:
