The colour formatting is not working in MoTDs
The server name is meant to look like "Froogopolis in beta!"
This is what the name in the server.properties file is set to:
\u00a72Froogopolis in beta!\u00a7r
Which, according to https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Formatting_codes, should display "Froogopolis in beta!"
But the picture attached is what appears.
This also persists in the friends tab where it shows the MoTD as the name under"LAN games"

Hi Cameron,
Was this ever possible or was this more a bug report about not being able to get it to work? I don't see anything in the link you posted that mentions it should be possible in Bedrock, the lines mentioning server.properties are referencing the Java version of the game.

I've not heard back from you in a while.
In order to keep the Bedrock Dedicated Server project running smoothly I'm going to request this issue be closed as Awaiting Response.
Never fear though! If this is still affecting you in the latest version (and is related to Bedrock Dedicated Server and not the Minecraft Bedrock game) all you have to do is comment and it will reopen.
If your issue does still exist but is related to the game and not the server software please head over to the Minecraft (Bedrock codebase) project.
