Why am I constantly randomly disconnected from my realm? For a service I am paying for to be disconnected 3 times within 10 minutes is a totally unacceptable level of service and I am most disgruntled with it.

Unfortunately we're unable to help with Realms technical issues here, the bug tracker is run by volunteers who have no more access to Mojangs systems than you do. The bug tracker is only intended to track gameplay bugs.
Because its a paid service I would suggest contacting Mojang Customer Support directly who should be able to assist.
