/whitelist command not working in-game
/whitelist commands are not available to operators on non-cheat server
Tested on server software version 1.16.1.02 LinuxSteps to reproduce...
- Create a Bedrock server with whitelist enabled, cheats disabled.
- Join the server as a player on any device
- OP player from the server's console
- As the opped player type `/whitelist list` command in the chat window
What I expect should happen...
The whitelist is shown in the chat window.
What actually happened...
The message appears: The cheats aren’t enabled on this level. The list is not shown.
How this impacts BDS
There is no way of managing whitelist in-game on non-cheat server.

The whitelist command is not available in-game for BDS regardless of the enable-cheats property. As this has not yet been implemented, a request for it would be a feature request rather than a bug report. BDS is in Alpha which means its feature incomplete.
We're only able to track bugs here, please head over to https://feedback.minecraft.net and either vote for an existing suggestion or create a new one.

Hey, I'm having this same issue and I'm 100% sure that it used to work up until the last version or the one before that.
That's also confirmed by what's in the wiki: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands/whitelist which shows the syntax differences from JAVA to BDS.
Can you please check again why the whitelist command is not showing up anymore and provide a workaround or a fix?
