Servers not working

For about the past month all of my servers have been lagging bad as well as the worlds that I join that belong to my friends. I've switched to three different devices to see of anything would change but nothing did. I turned off my wifi and used data to play on the servers and nothing changed. I used another device with data and still, the servers were lagging bad. I uninstalled Minecraft and downloaded it again and it was still lagging. I believe that there is either something wrong with my account, something wrong with the servers, or something wrong with the app as a whole when it comes to multiplayer gameplay. I want to get back to playing with people so please help.
