I can't see anything in chat other than what i'm saying

When I join a server, usually chat is flooded with messages. But ever since 1.10.0 was released I only saw the text that the server makes, I make, and the game makes. ie, moosetwin: hello!  There is a deal for (insert something that costs minecoins here)  and (insert player here) fell to their death.

I checked on mineplex, mineplex survival, the hive, and lifeboat. Every server's chat except for lifeboat didn't work.

I have pictures of the server's chat not working attached. (I can't remember if I took a picture of lifeboat)
