BDS-6289Missing Blocks
I am not quite sure what bug this is, but after 1.16.0 was released, blocks would appear to be missing. Even though they were "missing," they still retained the original functions. The blocks that are affected (that I have come across) are glass, torches, fire inside the Nether, water, sugar cane, rails, and the Nether portal when in the over world. These blocks randomly start showing up while the others disappear.
