ISSUE RESOLVED

While I was loading up my Minecraft game earlier this afternoon I bumped into a clear bug on the game. I loaded the game up ready to choose my world I was going to play on when I had the message.

Syncing user data, this may take a few moments.

I obviously waited for the few moments which lasted multiple hours as I kept refreshing my game many times hoping that it was just a glitch. However, I'm still currently waiting for the game to sync and I decided to report this as a bug.  

If anyone knows how to fix this or what's  going on please respond to me.
