SOUL SOIL FIRE BUG (FIRE WONT TURN BLUE)

i started a survival world where i had gathered resources from the nether including soul soil, whenever i lit up the soil for my build, it worked, the fire turned blue. i've now reloaded on the same world and now every time i try to light the soul soil the fire now turns red, and when i go up to my already existing blue fire and try to put it out and re-light it, it is also red on the soul soil. i hope that this can be fixed soon because it irks me in the worst way, thank you so much.
