XUID not showing in Console

same issue.

Having the same issue in the Ubuntu edition. This is identical to  BDS-578

As a temporary workaround, in console and while the user is logged in,  issue the commands: op <username> and if not someone you want as a operator then deop <username> and their xuid will be added to the permissions.json file.

Has this been resolved for you? Am running numerous instances on Windows and have not seen the issue but there's suggestion it was limited to Ubuntu.
