Tamed wolf gravitates towards fire when teleporting to it's player
I tamed a wolf, brought him to my house, after which I entered my bedroom, left the wolf inside in standing position, closed the door and was walking outside my house, when the wolf teleported towards me and ended up inside the fireplace, at the time of the teleportation, the fireplace was not inbetween myself and the wolf. Similar thing occured in the nether.
It seems like the entity should check whether or not the environment it teleports to is hostile or not.

Before you log a new report though, please know that confirming this in its current state would be almost impossible for a volunteer. If you're sure this is a bug (and not just a one off annoyance) please include steps on how someone could reliably reproduce the problem, you mentioned the fire wasn't between you and the pet so it can't be as simple as just placing a fire and running to the other side.
If you'd like more information on how to create an amazing bug report, including a template for reproduction steps, there is an amazing guide at http://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/801354-writing-helpful-bug-reports-for-minecraft.
Please don't forget to search for an existing issue matching yours in the appropriate project before raising a new one.
