AutoCompaction

Hi Ardee,

Unfortunately we are all volunteers here with no more information than you. My best guess is that it has to do with improvements in the latest release relating to the storage issues seen across almost all iterations of the Bedrock platform.

As this isn't a bug report I'll be requesting this is listed as a duplicate of BDS-1084 which related to a lack of release notes and submitting this for closure.

I have similarly observed this issue - BDS runs autocompaction continually and occupies a fair amount of CPU on an ongoing basis.

Hi Alden,

Do you run on Linux? Its likely your issue is the current high CPU utilisation when hosting from Linux.

I have a BDS instance public that has 2 people on it with the below utilisation while also running compaction. I don't believe your CPU issues are related to the new feature.

How I fix my world crashing when players come in.

This is happening a lot to me, do you know the meaning of that. I only found that is a new feature but there is I can't find more info than that.

weird still happens to me i have tracked it down to people using frost walker 32727 since it freezes the server and all you see is running autocompaction 

I don't understand how this is marked resolved??  This has happened on every single server version released since this ticket.  Why cant there be a fix for this spam?  I cant imagine that would take longer than 10 stinking minutes to fix.
