Hello, I’m trying to setup a Minecraft server for some friends to join.
0I’m running into issues with setting it up. I was successful in setting up port forwarding (I think) my friend was able to join but I had some issues as you’ll see soon enough.
0Let’s start
0Background information.
0I have a dual PC setup, Main PC and Second PC, Second PC will be running the server.
0I'm from Ireland and I have Virgin Media as my internet provider.
0Second PC IPv4 (248)
0VM Hub > Advanced Setting > Security > Port forwarding (see image below)

0So here it looks like I have successfully port forwarded.
0Okay, now moving onto the MC Server, I have installed all the files needed and setup a run.bat file

0I am now running the bat file

0Okay, it’s done, and it should be working.

0I joined the server and I break a block and I can’t pick up the Item.

0And now I have lost connection.
0Now I seem to have lost connection to my internet/ my router is down

0Once I type (stop) in the run.bat cmd, my internet comes back up.
0So, I have no idea what’s up with this. I know setting it up isn’t as hard as it is right now for me.
0Looking for any help you can give me.
0Thanks

Hi Andrew,
It looks like your issue relates to the Minecraft Java Edition product but has accidentally been raised in the "Bedrock Dedicated Server" section.
As your issue is more of a support request than a bug report I would suggest heading over to the official discord server where they may be able to help. Alternatively there are tons of resources online that might help you narrow down your issue.

Could a mod please close this issue.
