[BDS-19647] Sudden death while flying on elytras in the nether

I was playing on minecraft bedrock multiplayer server, i took off abruptly on elytras in nether, after flying for a few seconds i just hit the air and died. just hit the air even though the death message was "experienced kinetic energy". you can see everything in the video i attached
