Cant access realm i just paid for on Xbox One

I just purchased a realm on Xbox One (you + 2 friends) and when i went to start from the "play with friends" page that popped up after paying for the realm, it wouldn't start, throwing up a "loading your skin" box (not the exact words, i cant remember the exact wording) for a second and boot me back to the invite screen. When i exited to the menu, the realm was nowhere to be found. However, the payment has went through, so i've now paid money for a realm that i cannot access.
