No log files are generated
Bedrock Servers are missing log files in any of the servers folders. There is no ./log folder in the servers root directory like there is in Java Edition's server.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a Bedrock Dedicated Server and start it
- Look through the server folder and see that there are no logs to be found anywhere

Do you close the server using STOP command in the console?
Did AppData/Roaming/internalStorage/ path contain any log files for Windows, as mentioned by OcelotOnesie?

Running the stop command to stop the server doesn't seem to produce any logs. Searching in my user folder (C:\Users\<username>) yields no results, unless the logs are stored somewhere else.
On Windows, logs are stored in AppData/Roaming/internalStorage/Dedicated_Server.txt.
I'm sorry Jarl, I know you are eager to help but I need answers from the original reporter to be able to close the ticket or investigate it some more.
Oh, I resolved as Awaiting Response (AR) so that they would see it in their emails. But I'll do it without a comment next time
on windows they are on in AppData/Roaming/internalStorage/
where would they be stored in a debian machine?
I also don't think it makes sense to keep the logs outside the main server folder, what happens when i run multiple servers on the same machine?
Hi,
Server logs are generated in the Dedicated_Server.txt file, which is located in the same place as the server launch file. Let us know if you managed to find them.
