swimming floor mechanics

I am absolutely done with this game, I have been playing for hours and I dive into the water only to get caught on the ground and drown to death. I was stuck to the floor and I tried everything I could to rise and could not. I cannot explain how mad I am, I worked so many hours only to die to a mechanic that wasn't my fault. This is not the first time this has happened to me, I would typically brush it off if I had not already gotten so far but the fact that this took away the hours of process I put in is so incredibly frustrating.
