Unable to interact with world after either going to The End or using an ender pearl.

If I or anyone else on the server go to the end, use an ender pearl, our characters cannot open containers or doors and cannot break blocks either on survival or creative. Sometimes I can break things, but I cannot collect the item. Also, if I ender pearl again, I will be teleported to a different place than I was aiming for. Again, this also happens whenever someone goes to the end.
