Minecraft Multiplayer Launcher Not Working

Every time when I start creating a multiplayer world, players aren't able to connect to my world because it says it keeps timing out or saying connection failed. I tried turning off firewall, using the IP address, and looking up other options on how to fix this and nothing works. Even when I try to enter in other players worlds, it says that the connection failed. I don't know how this started happening because this never happened before any of these new updates came or anything else but this has to be fixed because I cant play multiplayer at all.
