(solved) I am getting the disconnectionscreen.outdatedclientrealmsnonowner.title error even though both games are updated.

With the recent release of 1.19.4, I cannot connect to my friends' Realm. I keep getting the disconnectionscreen.outdatedclientrealmsnonowner.title error, even though both of us are updated to 1.19.4. The one problem I might see is that I am on Minecraft for Windows and the friend is on Playstation 4 edition. Are there any ideas as to how to fix this? (edit) I am currently uninstalling then reinstalling the game to see if that helps.
