whitelist file not updating with xuid (Bedrock server)

created a whitelist java file  like:

[
{
"ignoresPlayerLimit":false,
"name":"Minecraft user Name"
}
]

Logged into the game and connected to the server game and exited. The xuid is not being added to the file as documented in the How to file.

Is there a way to get the xuid value in game?

Environment

Windows 10

You are able to Check the Xuid on your client. Settings>Profile>

on the lower Right side . CID  Is the Same as Xuid

[

{ "ignoresPlayerLimit": true, "name": "Redisturbed" }

,

{ "ignoresPlayerLimit": true, "name": "Redisturbed", "xuid": "****************" }

]

The Xuid was taken from the server screen

This worked just fine for me yesterday on 1.8.

Hi John,

I believe, if this wasn't working at the time, it now is. I know as recently as a couple of days ago SilentWisperer white-listed using names.

Are you able to confirm if you're still having this issue?
