There is no budding amethyst. But there is Amethyst crystal growing.

Is this only happening on a Dedicated Server, realms, multiplayer or singleplayer? What plaform are you using?

This was on a dedicated server hosted by skynode.pro. This was on a Survival Multi-player. I am using MCPE
