Crazy bugs

I play with no issues on my Samsung phone, but my son's Samsung tablet is acting up: there are crazy delays: after you fall and should die, you can still walk around for a second, mobs do not attack in survival, and sheep float when hit. Arrows do not shoot. Cutting down trees makes blocks dissapear, but no item get picked up.

 

Also, for two weeks now we cannot connect, even though we are running the same version.

 

Help! My son made a labyrynth for me...
