My clouds are pink and my bar for weapons is brown not green

So I updated Minecraft today to 1.17.3004.70. Saw the pink loading bar screen and thought oh they changed it. Loaded into an existing world to see my clouds were pink. The sun was setting so I thought oh sunset. They've stay pink now. Then I crafted some weapons and used them. I was killed by a skeleton and recollected my stuff. My weapons looked like they were about to break due to the fact the bar was dark brown. But no they were just looking like that. Im not sure whats wrong but i don't like it
