Servers won't work

I am on Xbox one and I am trying to join Java servers I have changed my DNS settings and tried everything possible on my phone like BedrockTogether. I have done this before playing on other servers on Java but that was on a different Xbox with the same users name( would this create a problem). Can u help I have ran out of options and it's been weeks now. I'm getting ready annoyed now about it and can't play with my friends
