Animals are to big

When I got into Minecraft my pen of baby sheep were huge! And when I tried to ride my horse it wouldn't let me. Also, I tried leaving and rejoining the world, restarting Minecraft, and restarting my entire Xbox and nothing worked. All I want to do is play the game...
