BDS-12855Error when attempting to connect to Realmes/multiple users
Attempting to join realms produces this error for multiple users: minecraft io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection timed out.
Playing MineCraft 1.16.5 through the Launcher and then Microsoft Realms. Error displays when connecting to the Realm.
Impact all users. Last successful user access was evening of 4/14/21.
This does not impact SinglePlayer.

However, this issue is Invalid.
Issues such as these are often due to a temporary service outage, and are handled by the team outside the bug tracker.

If there is no general outage, please first try to verify that the problem is not with your local connection or network settings. Afterwards visit Minecraft Community Support for assistance and refer to this ticket (e.g. "I have reported this issue on Mojira as BDS-XYZ.").
You might also try to deactivate any VPN in use, and check your firewall settings. If your device supports mobile data, try switching to wifi. If possible, try using a different wifi network.
