Lost all my stuff due too an interesting glitch.

I was playing on a world. I have a kindle fire and the person I played with was on a Nintendo switch. They accidentally hit the home button on the switch, which usually sets the game back too the last autosave. When I rejoined, I had zero stuff, a fresh map even though I had played before, and I was at the spawn point. The person I was playing with didn't lose all their stuff and nobody else in the world experienced this problem... So what happened???
