Unable to play splitscreen multiplayer on Minecraft Xbox One beta 1.16.210.56.
Unable to play splitscreen multiplayer on Xbox One. Tried remapping controls, giving player 2 operator/member privileges, using different Xbox live accounts, switching controllers, hard resetting Xbox One, uninstalling and reinstalling, going into offline mode on my Xbox, etc. Player 2 can place blocks and interact with doors/mobs/pressure plates, but is unable to break any blocks. When Player 2 breaks a block, it disappears on their screen but is still there on Player 1's screen. Player 2 will move to the place of a block they just broke and will seemingly phase through the still present block on Player 1's screen.
Environment
Xbox One console, Minecraft Windows 10 Bedrock Edition, v1.16.210.56 beta
