I purchased the game ane downloaded minecraft launcher and it won't open and is asking me to purchase again. Please help.

Purchased the game and downloaded the laucher and still unable to play or open the laucher.  Returned to my account and now it wants me to purchase the game again. Please help, I've already paid and would like to be able to actually play the game.
