My Microsoft account was banned even though I wasn’t playing...

I logged onto Minecraft this morning, and I see that I have been permanently banned from all multiplayer. I had not played for about two months and thought this was very strange. I go to look for an appeal page but found none. So now I am left wondering why I was banned with no reason given to me, I had done nothing to violate the community guide lines set by Mojang. It is possible that my account was “hacked” and if that is the case I guess the Microsoft’s account is dead then. Thanks for reading -rylan
