This is likely due to the loopback policies. There will be a HTML file on the same directory as the executable that explains how to fix it.
Just open cmd as admin and paste the:
"CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt –a –p=S-1-15-2-1958404141-86561845-1752920682-3514627264-368642714-62675701-733520436"
Same happened to me, but the reason I can't is because my server is in 1.9.0.5 while I play in 1.11.0.3. I don't understand why BDS just stopped getting updates.
I mean, OK, 1.11 is not in full release yet, but it should at least be in 1.10, which is a fully released version.
Edit: Nvm, 1.10 has not been fully released yet. But it says it is in 1.9.0.5, which is a beta version. So if it has beta versions, shouldn't it be in 1.11.0.3?
Can this issue please be closed. The initial issue was the NetIsolation and the version query is no longer relevant. BDS matches release version (may not have at the time, I don't know).
